He has a reputation for blending hip-hop that is contemporary and alternative with rock in his music compositions. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. In the midst of delivering lyrics at the speed of a train, this Cleveland artist experienced a remarkable growth in the second half of 2011, when he transitioned from grinding out self-released mixtapes, to signing with well-known labels. His career took off immediately, and all of his albums reaching the top 10 of charts.
