Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 She was one of the co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. While Artistic Director of SSC she was also the company's producer costume/set designer music director, composer and coach for text. The last year of her tenure, she was a director and lighting designer for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this previous year, she directed her debut. She has worked in a variety of other shows apart from acting. She was raised by her twin sisters and brothers at Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife, a poetess Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School is where she was a student and took part in cheerleading. In the following year, she attended Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post had been married before the wedding to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer from 1982. Together, they have two daughters. A wonderful actress and an ideal wife and mother Post has been a source of inspiration for many within Hollywood.
