Ky-Mani along with Praswell (Fugees), collaborated on an iconic cover of Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue". The extent of his fame was clearly evident when Ky-Mani took the stage at Midem (international festival of music) in the year it was staged on the streets of Miami to the first time. Catering to an international audience inside the capacity-packed Cameo Theatre, Ky-Mani delivered an explosive set which aired live by CANA (Caribbean News Agency) to 36 countries. Ky-mani Marley is now developing his sixth studio album that will show his personal growth as well as illustrating the duality of his persona Ky-Mani and Maestro. The album is hip and is deeply rooted in hip-hop music and reggae. This album promises to be an amazing departure from synthesized pop, which is often connected with this kind of genre. Instead it will be real urban hip-hop and reggaefusion. The singer released his latest track "New Heights" on 3rd March 2011.
